Bryan Timmis a highly accomplished Fashion and Retail industry executive with over 25 years of experience spanning from Strategic Business Planning and Operations, to Finance and IT. Timm currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of MadaLuxe Group, North America’s largest distributor of luxury fashion and accessories for men and women, sourced directly from the world’s most esteemed and preeminent fashion houses. Over the past 25 years, MadaLuxe Group has established unprecedented access and an exclusive foothold in the market, with clients ranging from the most iconic European Maisons including Versace Group and Kering, parent company of Gucci, Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta, amongst others, to the acclaimed American brands Halston Heritage and Haute Hippie, the latter in which MadaLuxe Group now holds an equity stake and for which Bryan serves as joint Chief Operating Officer. In his current role as COO of MadaLuxe Group, Bryan oversees the day-to-day operations of the company while leveraging his extensive experience in business transformation to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive high growth and high business value. From investing in brands and businesses to launching new concepts and licensing new product categories, with Bryan Timm’s expertise added to the executive ranks at MadaLuxe Group, the company is perfectly positioned for limitless growth opportunities.
Prior to joining MadaLuxe Group, Timm held various senior level executive positions in the industry. Most recently he served as President of Genetic Los Angeles, where he partnered with the company’s founder to develop and roll out a strategic business plan to drive long term value and success for the women’s premium denim brand. Prior to Genetic, Timm served as Chief Operating Officer of Halston Operating Company where he was a key player spearheading the relaunch of the iconic American fashion house. When he joined Halston, Timm relocated the corporate offices from New York to Los Angeles and established an entirely new infrastructure while building and overseeing a variety of functions from Finance, Production, Distribution and Information Technology, to Human Resources, Legal and Customer Service. Before joining Halston, Timm served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Information Technology at BCBG Max Azria Group where he was responsible for implementing a business and information technology overhaul for the $1.3 billion multi-channel, multi-brand fashion house. Earlier in his career, Bryan served as Vice President of Business Transformation for Warnaco Swimwear Group, and Chief Information Officer at Guess?, Inc, where he saw sales more than double over his six years with the company. Timm spent the first five years of his career performing operations management consulting for Kurt Salmon Associates, where he specialized in the apparel and footwear sector.
Throughout his career, Timm has consistently served at the right hand of the Chief Executive Officer, developing and implementing critical roadmaps that lead to operational efficiencies, reduced costs, improved financial performance and ultimately long-term success. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree and a double major in Industrial Engineering and Economics.
