Madaluxe
MadaLuxe, the luxury fashion distribution company, is moving co-founder Adam Freede from the role of president to CEO, effective Feb. 13. The company named co-founder and CEO emeritus Sandy Sholl as executive chairman, a position in which she will remain responsible for e-commerce, retail and marketing operations. The company is rapidly growing its physical footprint; it opened an offprice luxury MadaLuxe Vault store in Los Angeles in December, signed a lease for 9,000 square feet of office space in New York City, where it plans to open a showroom this spring, and is scouting Southern California locations for a second Vault boutique

Gerber Technology
Gerber Technology hired Scott Schinlever as president and COO to run its automation solutions business. This new addition increases Gerber’s focus on driving product innovation and continued leadership in its automation solutions portfolio to meet these needs with its hardware and software solutions amid growing trends such as Industry 4.0 and on-demand manufacturing.

Max Mara
Max Mara hired former Oscar de la Renta vice president of communications Judgie Graham as its new vice president of marketing and communications. Graham previously did stints with Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Dior Couture.

Printfly
Printfly, an end-to-end custom apparel printing technology platform, added five executives to its leadership team. Kane Posner joins as vice president of finance and will also head the Printfly Business Intelligence Group. Mac Morgan assumes the role of vice president of technology and George Ward is the new vice president of marketing. Susan Kurian, director of sales, is responsible for leading the customer care department and discovering new markets. Previously the director of human resources for Thomson Reuters, Marco Colacito takes on the role of director of human capital.

Hugo Boss
After five years as artistic director, designer Jason Wu is parting ways with Hugo Boss. He presented his final collection with the luxury house this month at New York Fashion Week F/W 18. Wu was hired to help the German label increase its presence in women’s wear and his departure is seen as an effort to refocus on the men’s business.

H&M
H&M is bringing a company veteran back into the fold. The fast-fashion giant announced that Anna Attemark is returning to strengthen its new business division, which has outperformed the company as a whole and includes brands such as Cheap Monday, COS, & Other Stories, Monki, H&M Home, and Weekday. Attemark joins H&M from Swedish apparel company Odd Molly, where she served as CEO. She replaces Madeleine Persson, who, along with Fredrik Olsson, will run the H&M brand business as co-managing directors.

SMCP Group
Following its initial public offering last fall, SMCP Group recruited financial communications veteran Célia d’Everlange to the role of head of investor relations. SMCP owns Parisian brands Claudie Pierlot, Maje and Sandro.

Ssense
Ssense, a platform for independent and luxury designers, created the new position of chief merchandising officer, to which it hired Krishna Nikhil. He comes to Ssense from a role as executive vice president, print and chief strategy officer for Indigo Books & Music, and previously was a partner at McKinsey & Company.
